The word ‘coaching’ literally means to transport someone from one place to another. Coaching is used to help people move forward in a certain direction, and this is dictated by the coachee.
How does it work?
Coaches are trained to listen, to observe and to customize their approach to individual client needs. In each meeting, the client chooses the focus of conversation, while the coaches ask systematic, analytical questions and seeks to elicit solutions and strategies from the client. The coach's job is to provide support to enhance the unique skills, resources, and creativity that the client already has.
Mission
My mission is to empower people to create fulfilling lives, excel in their work and have a positive impact on the communities they work and live in. I believe that coaching is one of the most powerful ways to communicate and connect, it is empowering and can lead to strong relationships from which people are able to develop and produce extraordinary results.
Commitment
Today we can often find ourselves overwhelmed and facing increasing pressure to meet deadlines, juggle personal and work commitments, in fact we are so busy that life often just passes us by. In such times, self awareness is a necessity.
Coaching enables clients to find that sense of direction and is a particularly useful tool for managers and members of staff who find themselves 'stuck'.
For Whom?
I love working with anybody ready for change. However, I do specialise in coaching and training managers and supervisors. I recognise that people in these roles juggle the day to day challenges of their 'real' jobs along side being a people manager. They often find themselves isolated and under pressure to fix and provide solutions. This can be especially challenging for the new manager.
